LEGO Yamato battleship scale is 1"/108". Built from actual dimensions of the ship. This ship is 8' 6" long, 14" wide, 18" tall, weighs 50 pounds & separates in 3 sections.
I'm recreating Operation 'Ten Go' from World War 2. Japanese destroyer Yukikaze (same scale) & 3 American torpedo planes are under construction.
LEGO Yamato battleship has been on display at the Maker Fair in San Mateo this past May 31, 2009 & Palo Alto on June 28.
The LEGO Yamato battleship will be on display from Friday August 7 until Sunday August 23 at the 2009 LEGO SHOW IN SAN LEANDRO.
