Micro Space contest

The Classic-Space Group on Flickr is holding a contest hosted by Nightowl 280. You are challenged to build a microscale fleet (and also a ship interior). Warning, Mike Yoder has already set the bar pretty high with his fleet.

Thanks are due to Linus Bohman of The Brothers Brick. I saw the fleet on Brickshelf but didn't know of the contest until following the links from Linus' blog post.

The NXT best thing

I always love it when people make micro versions of real sets. Moko has a great version of the robot from set 8527, Mindstorms NXT, with his NXT.

Go speed racer

You probably know Shinya Fujita from his masterpiece LEGO Star Wars Trilogy, a complete telling of the original three Star Wars movies, made before LEGO came out with an official SW line. He's got a lot of other great MOCs, including this fun Short Circuit.
