Fredoichi has posted a micro hover tank. Don't bother looking for those stickers in the Bricklink catalog. Fredoichi uses bits of other stickers and decals to decorate his mocs.

asteroid-based space station
On flickr, jmenomeno has posted a set of photos detailing a space station built on an asteroid. Seen as a whole, the station has a definite aircraft carrier vibe to it.
I liked this close-up, showing a tiny workbee making a repair.

Micro Town Plan
Janey Red Brick's micro version of Town Plan, set 10184, was recently featured on The Brothers Brick.
This photo is part of Janey's Micro Creations set. The set includes several more micro versions of real sets, some of which were subjects of an earlier post on this blog.
UPDATE: Whoops! This was posted earlier on MicroBricks.

Floating City
Janey Red Brick posted her floating space city on Brickshelf three years ago. I was blown away.
Janey has recently added the Wonder Stories - Floating City set to her flickr account.

Train Engine
It's not a new photo, but we haven't had any micro trains for a while, so here's a nice three-wide engine by flickr user 29juneproducts.

Micro with few pieces
Is there a contest to build micro space vehicles with the fewest pieces?
If so, Flickr user GoRiLLaWeR has two MOCs that will be hard to beat.

More Maikuro
Fredoichi has added a few more micro fighters. My favorite is Maikuro Fighter 4. Be sure to check out the rest of his Starfighters.
The cylinders on either side? That's part 30361, which comes in many variants. As for the stickers, Fredoichi writes, "I use a lot of different type of stickers, but I cut most of the them to get more interesting shapes."

Dacta micro set 9324
The Dacta Micro Building Set 9324 is another official LEGO set in microscale. Dacta sets are aimed at the educational market. They are sold through LEGO Education rather than through regular LEGO retail outlets.
The set comes with 1,641 pieces and 8 themed idea cards. I've found that the cards are a great way to introduce students to the concept of microscale building. Each card shows a micro scene (farm, castle, airport, etc.) and gives detailed instructions for two or three of the items featured in the scene.

A new scale?
At least I haven't seen this before. Apocalust has been playing with a new sub minifig scale that uses fig heads, but with characters at less than half the height of a normal fig. These are a bit like the new microfigs that are appearing in the LEGO games released in Europe.
