'Twas beauty that killed the beast

It had to be done, and Legostein has done it: King Kong using the Collectible Fig gorilla and the Architecture line Empire State Building. Great little plane design, btw.

Edit - Oops, I'm an idiot. I didn't look closely at this. That's actually not the Architecture line Empire State Building, but is instead Legostein's own design. Sorry, Chris, for the oversight.

PKiN Warszawa

Diabel has built a great rendition of the Pałac Kultury i Nauki w Warszawie, or the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, in English. His MOC is very much in keeping with the Architecture line and might be part of the recent call for new LEGO designers for that line.

Merry Christmas

It looks like LEGO will be wishing micro SW fans a Merry Christmas with this year's advent calendar. Was this shown at one of the recent Toy Fairs?

Grand Hotel

Unhalfbricking made use of the Viking snake tile and some other interesting decorative techniques to create this Grand Hotel.

I love the diagonal windows on each end. I assume that they are 1x1 plates, inserted stud first.

Air Show Acrobats

Flickr user Tervlon posted a clever MOC of two micro stunt planes. I love the spiral smoke trails made from 1x2 trans clear plates. Must have taken a lot of patience!

Fighter Jet

Ed Diment has a set of sweet little micro aircraft.

The wings of this fighter jet are made from the small Bionicle wing. While it's not technically a new part (it came out in 2008), this is the first micro model I've noticed that makes use of it.

Thomas and Friends

Matt Armstrong built micro versions of Thomas the Tank Engine and other trains from that series.
