Monsterbrick (Matt Armstrong) recently came up with a small horse design, that he took in both western and castle directions.

Street
One more from Puddleglum, for now, a group shot of some of his micro buildings. He says this is just part of a larger display, so I'm looking forward to the finished creation.

Deborah Higdon, who has been featured here before, pointed out this great house by Eiffelben. I particularly like the details around the door.

We Rule
Legopalooza was a show organized by NCLUG last week. I can't read the tags, but I'm guessing this huge display based on the game We Rule is a collaborative effort. Now someone has to build a similar display based on Trade Nations - the iPhone game that I'm addicted to.
-Edit- Thanks to the comments below, I've been told that this was all by one builder, Sabrina Gravatt.

Building the Taj Mahal
A month ago Mariann Asanuma posted a birthday cake topper she made for an AFOL building the Taj Mahal. I love the scale mixing here.

CCC scale mixing
I've been looking back at the Colossal Castle Contest VIII entries. Entries are mostly at minifig scale, but some people used microscale in creative ways. For instance, Busboy489's Enchanted Rose Room looks out on a micro castle in the distance.
