Tsim Sha Tsui
I think this Tsim Sha Tsui is a collaborative build by Hong Kong AFOLs, or maybe it is just ArzLan. Be sure to watch this video.

Darth Tiny
I totally missed this detail the other day in Chris Deck's Imperial Toys: Darth Vader. I love this fig and wonder if other characters could be made at this scale.

Both contenders in the recent Iron Builder also tapped in to Star Wars, with Pascal's Mos Eisley and Rod's Boonta Eve Classic.

Iron Builder
The most recent round of the Iron Builder pits 2MuchCaffeine against Pasukaru76, with the secret ingredient of the blue battle droid torso. This round has been rich with microscale builds including Rod's Tripod Attack:

Rod's Moonbase:

His Landing Pad:

And his Maintenance Bay:

But Pascal didn't cede the micro-neo-classic-space ground to Rod, coming with his own Spaceport Crane:

His Starfury (yay Bab 5!):

And his Nova Scotia:

Microbuild LEGO Tournament 2012
I hadn't seen this until just yesterday listening to a back episode of the Look at LEGO Podcast. Over on Toys N Bricks they recently held a Microbuild LEGO Tournament 2012, challenging builders to come up with buildings in the style of the Mini Modulars set. The winners were announced recently. First prize went to Striderhiryu for his Brick Fever nightclub and second was won by Dilbert12's theater. All of the entries can be found here.

And the winner is ...
The winners have been announced in the Eurobricks Architecture contest. We'll count down over the next few days. Fifth place was shared by two entries, Blake Baer's Matsumoto Castle and unbornchikken's Getty Center. These are both awesome, but I was particularly happy to see the second one, as I used to live in Los Angeles and went to the Getty several times.

Arising from the ashes
I've previously noted Spencer Rezkalla's stunning 1 WTC. Now he's completed the whole new World Trade Center complex. Via the Brothers-Brick.

Little Ben
Arthur Gugick has big (well, little) plans. He's listed 57 landmarks from 31 different cities that he intends to make as a micro tour around the world. This is actually his fourth version of Big Ben, and it's at his smallest scale yet.

Sandvik PF300
Konjara has already built some amazing fig scale mining equipment, including the Sandvik PF300, which is sort of a combination of a huge rock crusher and conveyer belt system. You can see it in action and this gives you an idea of the size:

Konjara's minifig scale models will be on display in the Sandvik booth of an upcoming trade show, and the company commissioned him to make a micro version as a give-away to their customers. That's pretty amazing - I've been to a number of trade expos in the past, but about the best thing I ever get is a pen with the company logo. Of course, I'm not about to buy a multi-gazillion-dollar piece of construction equipment ...
