Marina City

Rocco Buttliere also made this great Marina City, Chicago. Aside from those beautiful round tower shapes, my favorite bit is the way he used a LEGO cloth cape from the King Mathias set and flex tubing to get that curved roof, so it's all purist LEGO.

Micropolis display

Jennifer Heaton and Nathan Stohlmann presented their Micropolis modules to an appreciative audience at a library on Saturday, March 2. We didn't try to get a head count, but there was a steady stream of visitors throughout the afternoon.

Here's a bit closer view.

March Madness: Midwest Micro events

On Saturday, March 2, Jennifer Heaton and Nathan Stohlmann will display their collection of Micropolis modules from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the St. Anthony Park Library, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The event is not on the library's online calendar. If you need more info, leave a comment below. (Shown below is a smaller display of their work, previously featured on MicroBricks.)

What would you do with 60,000 bricks? Two Iowa guys have designed a scale model of the Science Center of Iowa, and you are invited to help construct the model. Building takes place March 16 and 17 at the Science Center of Iowa. (Shown below is a nano-scale model of the Science Center, which will be available for purchase at the center's gift store.)
