Matryoshka dolls
In a great entry to the Classic-Space Fanboy Cover Contest, Keith Goldman has a great micro version of Dan Hamann's Container Shuttle Craft. As in the original, the bay opens up to bring out special cargo, in this case an even smaller iteration, apparently built by the minifig of Prof. Whateverly.

Thanks Bruce, this was my first attempt at micro and I was humbled by the experience. I don't think it's in the same ballpark as the other entries, but it's nice to know somebody digs it. I'm gonna try micro with some original subject matter one of these years.
