Old Rogue
Over the past few months I've bookmarked Rogue Bantha several times. I think I've blogged a few MOCs out of these galleries, but there's just too much there for me to get it all. So let's just put a few favorites in this post and then I'll move forward with newer stuff as it appears. Most recently, he's posted some instructions. In October he updated his Acclamator. Around the same time he updated his Trade Federation vehicles, I think with the droid carriers. How did I miss blogging his Rep1 battle, especially check out that little detail with the ice cream. Anyone with even a passing interest in Star Wars micros should peruse his Flickr or Brickshelf.

Hover Wars!
It looks like Nnenn has created his own micro wargame, Hover Wars. He's got two teams of hover tanks, each with rules about how they move and fight, and a ruined landscape for them to move in. It doesn't look like he's posted an overall set of rules yet. These are also on Flickr, where you can see some of the discussion.

Trophies
Here are trophies from several past fests that use microscale to good effect.
From BrickCon 08, check out the best train trophy in the back left (anyone know the builder and winner?).
From BrickCon 07, see the best area layout trophy in the second row (again, could someone identify the builder and the winner?).
Aaron Sneary made these space trophies for either NWBrickCon 04 or 05. If someone knows who won these, Aaron would be interested in learning, as he was unable to attend.

Space down under
Paul Paulch showed off some microspace goodness at Brickvention. Only a couple of these are on his Brickshelf gallery, and those are fairly old. Does anyone know if he is posting somewhere else now (Flickr, MOCpages, personal site, etc.)?

Neuschwanstiny
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is hosting an exhibit called LEGO Castle Adventure. They've got models large and small, including this rendition of Neuschwanstein (photo by Cindatree). There are a lot more photos in this Gallery by Blackbear88.

Innovative parts use

It's all fun and games until someone puts a teeny tiny eye out
A couple of board games using micro. Antonella made a version of the game Cathedral (other versions by Aaron Sneary, Jason Spears and Gary Thomas). Nnenn made this chess set. A while ago Suzanne Rich made this Settlers of Cataan with some nice micro techniques. Several of these board games, and others, were referenced in this Classic-Castle thread.

Perfect for mini-golf
I was just looking through Erik Smit's photostream (for a VignetteBricks post) and saw two really nice microscale MOCs, his windmill and Avatar ship.
Minnesota monuments
A series of micro MOCs were on display at a recent TwinLUG meeting. I wonder if these will be incorporated into their growing group micro city? At least the first two of these are by Tom __?__. Could someone fully identify the builders?
Edit: These were all by Tom Anderson. I guess they had a little contest to build the Minnesota State Capital and Cathedral of St Paul at the last TwinLug meeting. These guys have the coolest micro collaboration - I know I've blogged it before but will have to do a much more extensive post sometime soon.
