Russian contest
DoubleBrick, a Russian LEGO group, recently held a micro-architecture contest. First place went to Zed's Alin Boutique Sarigerme hotel. Second went to CoolerTD's St. Petersburg Admiralty. Third place was taken by LakMause's mountain skiing complex. Check out all of the entries. For most of these they also have reference photos of the real thing, which was nice for some of the ones I'm unfamiliar with (e.g. various Russian structures).
